Sushi

Sushi

I had plenty of sushi when I lived in Japan for two years.  One time it was so fresh it had been caught right before serving.  I swear it moved on the table.  The Japanese eat pickled plums with their sushi. I do not care for pickled anything much.  It is a hold over from when I was young.

In Sushi, I used teabags, store bought paper, raffia, and my new love, Stablio Woody pencils. If you have not tried them you are missing out.  They are very water soluable and can create wonderful ink blots, drips, and can be transparent or not.  They are applied like a colored pencil and then the magic begins.

I love this John! Great colors and composition. I got those woodies and have not used them yet- now I am excited to try.
