Postcard 09080817

Postcard 09080817

Not thinking too much about placement, just get collage materials down and working really fast has been the name of this postcard series game.  I guess one has to when one is creating over twenty postcards in one setting.
=============================

A couple of weekends ago we went to Vancouver, B.C.  Tim use to live there and I have visited Vancouver more times than any other city.  It is amazing to have the mountains and the water right there, together.  We have a favorite Greek restaurant, Stephos.  The food never disappoints.  We have even talked about going to Stephos just for dinner and then drive home again.  It is about a three hour drive  usually including the border wait.  This time we also went to Cin Cin on Robson.  OMG!  It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

Last night for dinner we decided to try and recreate the salad that I had ordered.  Our re-creation had a bed of arugula, burrata mozzarella (a must because it is very soft), fresh peaches, fresh figs, beets and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.   I should have taken a photo. I found one online but it has a few different ingredients.  YUM!

Sounds like you are having GREAT postcard fun! Vancouver is one of our favorite destinations as well. Thanks for the tip on Stephos. Excited to try it next time we're there!

oops... forgot to comment on the art. I love the idea of creating quickly to bypass the mind. After looking back at your series, what do you think is the difference? If any.
