Mini-Journal 06 - 08

Mini-Journal 06 - 08

For me the blue on the right draws me into the piece first and then to the monkey and next to the rabbit and the “tree”.  I imagine this might not be the case for everyone.

Here is the video for No. 6........

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching the little video, full screen, three times.
The overall feeling is so lush and beautiful. Thank you for sharing, John.

Jaw-dropping!! It’s so wonderful to see the book as a whole..thanks for that john! What came to mind for me, was wondering if you had prepared your grounds first, or as you went along...
On this last post, the yellow monkey is who grabbed my eye first..but when watching the video...i was looking at pages, overall..and marveling at the storyline..

John’s Jungle Journal: This tiny tale travels through a miniature theatre
of botanical wonders tempting the viewer to look close and then look closer.

I think the 'eyes' have it! Anywhere I see eyes, I focus - especially the single one behind the tree. xcr

The “tree” (which I love just because of the shape) catches my eye because it is so unusual, and then the red and white dots in the dark blue shapes behind it. The hare seems to be fleeing the scene quite rapidly and the monkey looks terribly perplexed! His fan seems to be of Japanese origin as it displays the image of the rising sun.
