I separated the figures from the wooden background of the mummy plank in iColorama. Then I created a new background for the two figures. I filtered the images some and called it done. The next step was to complete the collage as you see it using the altered piece completed in the app.
I like the natural colours of the encaustic portraits - amazing that coloured wax on wood has lasted so well. This one in your series is very pleasing.
