Working small like I did in this one, a piece that is only 3.25 x 3.25 inches, seems manageable to me. Working 18 x up to 40 inches is more daunting. The next NW Collage Society show pieces are a minimum of 18 inches and a maximum of 40 inches. I have think big and that is challenge. I will do it but I have to think about how I am going to proceed.

One of my class exercise uses 4x4:
students aren't so intimidated and are freer.
