 I would give this piece a title......Say No to Bacon..... What is funny is that I only came up with this idea of no bacon after the piece was done.

 I have been working daily on this seeded journal which has seventeen (really sixteen but I did twice sort of) spreads.  I finished the backgrounds for the last four today and tomorrow will finish the collages.

 Can you tell that I love doing the seeded journal?  A spread does not have to work together.  Each half can stand alone or in this case I tied them together with the writing “Strange things happened.”

 I like the fact that the bee is in this collage.  Their movement is so graceful and it resembles a dance.

Just why would this woman be wearing a veil.  It leads me to cultural reasons.  It leads me to wondering about the history of wearing veils.  One knows about why women wear veils before getting married.  One knows about wearing veils when in mourning.  I have seen hats that have veils but the only purpose is fashion.  Just what is the purpose of this veil?
