I received an ATC in a fabric/paper envelope a few months ago.  The ATC was sewn into the envelope.  On the paper side was my address and a bit of other things.....stamp, return address, etc.  I added this envelope to my seeded journal.  The post office added the white strip.  I also added the portrait.  It is a three way collaboration....Elsa, post office, and me.

I made a mistake when I did the stamping of the word 'bath'.  Drescher would have said cover it up with something else and/or then do it over again.  I thought about what I might put over the lettering but then I thought of keeping it just as is.  The jury is out.

Funny, but I like the staples showing through from the backside of this page.  There seems to be a balance.

I have not been as tired as I was yesterday after a long day of activities in a long time.  I totally forgot to blog.  I am catching up this morning though.

 I am just loving the negative space in the collages for the seeded journal.  In preparing this collage for publication I noticed that not only is the cheetah yellow but so is the tie worn by the man.  I like the color relationship.

 There is a discount on the Drescher workshop through Carla Sonheim.  So I decided to sign up.  It will be interesting to see how these pieces that I have shown change.

In my Drescher journal I added part of a posted envelope adhering it in with staples.  I had a focal point on this page but I like the female bicyclist better.  One has to be able to give up when collaging.
