Chief Seattle

Chief Seattle

Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it.  Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

This is really lovely. I love the way you incorporated the map. Well done once again.

I like how you did the weaving and then broke the pattern with the stripe. This is really brilliant John.

Very nice John. Now I want to do some paper weaving- I haven't in ages and I use to do it a lot with 5th graders when I taught elementary art. Great quotes as well.

Love how you have incorporated (?) different scales of the world photo, tribal pattern and the patchwork as a background for the character.

Oh John, thank you so much for these thoughts!!! Can you get them in the heads of congress? Beautiful interpretation in paper and image.

Beautiful creation. I'm with Terry, between yours and Margit's creative weaving my fingers are itching. I used to be a weaver some 25 years ago.
