My friend, Sally, has a number stamp that has huge numerals.  I stamped each of the postcards in the series with it.  I have three stamps that also stamp numbers but I am still looking for one that does the numerals this size.

I am home from the Newport Oregon Paper and Book Arts Festival.  OMG!  I had such a good time.  My three workshops went well.  I loved all the work that the students created.  Success all around! :-)

Today a new series appears.  I am calling it the monkey series.  Many of the works in this series have bottle cap images.

Driving home from the Newport Paper and Book Arts Festival today.  What fun I had in the three workshops I taught!  It was a push for everyone to finish each day but they did,   Great artists and book binders.

The Newport Book Arts Festival is amazing.  My two classes so far have been fantastic.

I was so busy teaching yesterday and exhausted in the evening that I neglected to post.  Newport is amazing again this year.  What a wonderful group I had yesterday!  I think everyone had a fun time.  I know I did.

I like the balance in this ATC composition.

I love how, when doing a series, just changing up two things basically gives one a whole new composition.

I love working in a series.  Even though the steps and the components are the same or similar, each one turns out as a separate composition.

Off to Newport, OR this morning with a stop in Portland for lunch.  The weather is suppose to be sunny the whole time there.  Yeah!  I love the ocean and have a strong need to be by it.

The focal images are all from a French source.  I love the colors used by the illustrator.

Packing the car for Newport has become quite the task.  I had organized prior to going to the UK.  Now I have to go through everything again just to make sure I have all that I need.
