 I also used teabag mesh on some of the book covers which has also been stitched.

 Most of the book covers have a piece of cloth with stitching.  In this case the cloth is sari ribbon.

 One thing I love about these ATC books is that when you open them all the way so the front and back covers meet you see the total portrait.

 I draw the portraits in Procreate and add finishing coloring in iColorama.

ATC (Artist Trading Card) Book 01

 While recuperating from my first surgery this year I had to work either from my chair or from bed.  So working small was necessary.  I started making books the size of an ATC or 3.5 x 2.5 inches.  I covered the outside of the books with portraits that I had done and with collage material.  Here is the first one.

I have been working fairly small for quite some time.  Recently I had a discussion with another artist about working small.  It seems some feel that it might be more difficult to work small rather than large.  I don’t feel that way but maybe feel that large is more intimidating.   Thoughts?
