Electrifying

Electrifying
All of the electrical wires reminds me of some electrical work I did in our house in Germany.  I was installing a foyer ceiling light being very careful to make sure the power was off.  I was up and down the ladder several times.  I needed one more adjustment to finish the job but this time I forgot to turn off the power.  In Germany power is 220 to 240 volts.  I touched the screw driver to the screw to finish my installation when the power went through my right thumb and exited out my left big toe.  I was knocked off the ladder by the jolt and fell down a flight of stairs.

I ended up with a burns under my thumb and toe nails and I had some bruises from the fall. However, I was very lucky that I did not kill myself!  Yikes that was a close call!

Speaking of electrifying, have you heard Meryl Streep's Golden Globe speech?

Yikes! Electricity scares me just because of things like that!
Thank goodness you were okay!
My first thought after loving all the electrical cables, was that
the cylinder reminded me of the massive curling exit at SeaTac?

Well, I'm glad you lived to fight another day! Just think - we never would have 'met'!
