Japanese Stab Bound Books

Japanese Stab Bound Books

The good news of the day for me is that I have only three more books to go to my original goal of making 365 books in one year.  Since I started on May 1 I actually was not sure that I would make the goal.  You know how life gets in the way and good intentions are waylaid.  Well it is going to happen.
Above you see three Japanese Stab bound books.  I love making them.  An art friend, Beau, who lives in Kansas City, sent me some monkeys in a snail mail package.  This is one of the images on the cover of the front book.  Thanks Beau!

The Newport Paper and Book Arts Festival is postponed until September 17-20, 2020.

Beautiful books John. I am so very happy we are art brothers. Like Jacki I knew you would make your goal. My class I was to teach Saturday is of course canceled we will reschedule it.
