While in the workshop with Melinda Tidwell we had access to piles and piles of ephemera that was sorted into colors. I found the orange ephemera and immediately love the negative space it created. Everything else was built around this piece.

My mom always said that "No!" was the first word I said. Ha!!! I think this is the first collage of yours I've seen without people. New direction??
Love this piece, John! Wonderful interaction between the positive and negative shapes/spaces. Great colors, too!
