| The Right Dope or Cure Your Ills |
The Right Dope was finished in three stages. I first did the background on 21 postcards. Then I completed all middlegrounds. The last bits on this one were the nurse and some Stabilo Woody pencil marks, some transfer asemic writing, and finally some graphite pencil. This postcard was a trade for a piece of art that a West Seattle collage artist, Liz Simpson, completed at the retreat a week ago. She is a retired nurse and this piece caught her eye. The piece I traded for caught mine.
