I love the insect eaten piece of ephemera in the original collage. The name GEORGE came from a children’s reader. I love that kids write in their text books. I know it drives the teacher bananas but look at the vintage ephemera it becomes after many years.

Well, i learned something today! I did not know about insect damage to paper..will be looking with informed eyes from now on! Billy collins has a terrific poem on the scribblings in margins of books...:-) your collage reminded me of it...
