The Presidio in San Francisco is a gorgeous place right where the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge enters the city. There are trees everywhere. It use to be an army base and takes up a huge expanse of the northern part of the city. There are hiking trails right along the water, beaches, and amazing sites of the Golden Gate. Lucky those who were stationed there.
