Yesterday I went to the Legion of Honor to see what was housed there. I am not much into religious art but there was one room of some of my favorite artists. Renoir was one of the featured painters. It is a beautiful location surrounded by a golf course and a national recreational area, Lands End. Years ago I walked there from the Castro. I can not believe how far it is and I know I could not do that same walk today.
