This past week was fleet week in SF. There were ships docked in the bay for the occasion. I suppose shore leave was given to the the sailors but I only saw two in the whole of the city. I did see a bevy of marines standing on a street corner. Not sure what they were up to but there were a lot of them.

I agree with Connie, this is an especially strong design.
Love how the colorful stamps make the b & w figures pop! Also, all of the rectangles in the background make an especially strong visual contrast to the rounded forms of the heads and shoulders of the kneeling soldiers.
