Drove all over SF with Irene yesterday afternoon showing her the sites. We went to Twin Peaks. Gorgeous view. We went to Mission Delores Park, beautiful site. We went to the Palace of Fine Arts. Amazing architecture remaining from the Pacific Exposition in the early 1900s. And we went to Japantown. Found some great papers at a Japanese paper store. Fun day that ended at an Italian restaurant. Good food. Unusual atmosphere.

Sounds fabulous. Wish our whole group could have had an outing in a charabanc!!! But I have so enjoyed your trip to SF even at one remove.
