Cover Before Striking |
Happy 4th of July! In each of the pieces in this series I sanded the words to distress them. I wanted to create a look that resembles billboards that have been neglected. Those billboards use to be around everywhere it seems. Now they are being replaced by electronic ones.
This man is a Tonkawa Native American and the photo of him was taken in 1898 and it was colorized some time later.
