When I started this series I needed a task to take to our collage meetups that meet several times a year. Taking collage materials to work in a public space needs to be anything but messy. So I adhered all the background papers with glue stick. That meant that all the other collage materials had to be adhered with glue stick. Since I used glue stick I could not use any wet mixed media material for this book. It worked out well.
