EcoPrinting

Getting ready to eco dye a piece of cloth with plant material and turmeric.

A piece of cotton after the steaming process.  It is still wet and needs to dry.

Eco dyed felt and linen drying.

Working on a coptic stitched book using eco dyed fabric for book cloth.  Anne Covell, the instructor, is in the background.  If you ever get a chance to take a class from Anne, do.  She is terrific!

Continuing to work on the book covers.

Last week I took an eco printing class at Sitka on the Oregon coast.  OMG!  It was so much fun.  I have a finished coptic stitched book to show tomorrow.  I now have quite a supply of eco dyed papers and cloths.  Now for more projects! :-)
