I just love making this type of journal. I have so many wonderful pieces of snail mail envelope art. I love the fact that I can use the envelopes sent me to create on the four sides of each and that it is a collaboration even though the sender did not intend or know that is what was going to happen. Sometimes I add to what is already on the front of the envelope but mostly I do not. For me, creating signatures out of the nested envelopes makes this journal extra special and it is such an easy way to keep the mail art as a contained treasure.
