My friend, Sally, gave me some papers she had made with her granddaughter. I used some of those papers in the backgrounds of this “portrait” book.
Really love all of the little details in NJ this piece, John! Such wonderful textures and patterns in the background, and I especially like the way you have “pieced” the woman’s face together. Oh, and, I believe I see some potato bag netting!
My eyes love going everywhere in this piece, fascinating.
