| Sad Boy |
Some days we have more than we can take. Some days we are elated. That is life. So today is Sad Boy’s turn. Some of the yellow from the background got onto my brush and onto the lower lip of Sad Boy. I left it as perhaps it was suppose to be.

I like Sad Boy a lot! He triggers compassionate feelings and wanting to hear what's bothering him.
He’s perfect as he is, with the yellow lip and all....if there is one thing i have learned by living this long, is that everyone has their sorrows and their stories....he’s a poster boy for life...
Sad boy is one of my favorite portraits that you have done. He exudes emotion.
John, the pathos in the eyes of these portraits is so strong.
This one especially. Tugs at my heart.
