August 2020 Artist Playing Cards - 10, 11, 12. 13 |
This is the last of the August APCs. I usually only post one of a series but since each figure was different I decided to do them all. The recipients should have them by now. It was a fun quick series to do. Sometimes I spend days rather than hours making them. I had all the “models” cut out some time ago so construction went really quickly.

These are really wonderful. The recipients are lucky indeed.
I like that you showed four together so we can see the differences and similarities.
I so look forward to seeing your work each day. Take good care, John.
Love the elongated form of the figures, here! I remember being taught, when drawing the human figure, that most people are about 6.5 heads tall. Some of these guys are about 10! These dudes are going to really have to duck when going through a doorway!
I love the voyeurism of the queen peering over the hedge. I love the transparent shadow of the mica. The rubenesque circle vs. the thinnest man. It is wonderful to see these four together.
