I do not have much to say about this piece other than it is not my favorite. I guess I am not excited about the background. Because of the way I work it was difficult creating it. My process of starting and adding and adding more, letting the piece speak to me did not work as well as it does most of the time. That is OK. I have always said that I share whatever I have worked on. So here is what I call a dud.

Not a dud, John. Whenever I have a problem piece, I look with in for small good areas, they are always there. and, I love your background especially the ochre!
I love the energy of the athlete...I visualize his legs splitting “within” and “without” one leg back one forward.
I had to chuckle john, because on sunday i was struggling with ochre also, and finally gave up...it will have to be another day...
When we have a vision of what we want, it is disappointing when it does not turn out..but others see it with fresh eyes! This one is great!
