| Hard Times |
Part of the background either came to me from my friend, Margit, in Germany or my Swedish friend, Ingrid, in Sweden. They both decorate their envelopes when sending me snail mail. Thanks Margot or Ingrid. We are getting close to the end of the 56 page junk journal. I think there are only a few more pieces to share. It was fun to create this journal using pieces of the snail mail from around the world.

And it has been anything except junk!
Colorful springboards for conversations, as well as great collage art. Sometimes I envision them poster size and they would be marvelous as billboards!
This one sparked a tale from my husband about breaking his arm when he was 12, growing up in Chicago, and that led to other stories of childhood feats of daring from both of us.
