Since the collages in this book has a theme of TEN, I particularly like the cancellations with 10. They add a bit of boldness and line quality. My eye seems to focus on the black first and then relaxes into the rest of the piece.

It’s terrific john..and i agree..i love the black cancellation stamps, particularly because they also are 10’s! That must have felt like a real triumph to pull all that together...
Loving this series- I have loved stamps since I was very young and I remember a friend of my father's gave me a stamp album and I began collecting. The bold black does grab attention first then the eye can wander.
