First Day Issue |
There is a lot going on here. I am so into using tea bags and I am into using recycled items. Everything in
First Day Issue comes from something that I am recycling. I have used some of what I assume is washi tape off of a package. I made my own CitraSolv papers from an old National Geographic. The stamp comes from papers I found when cleaning out my parents' house. The fabric is from my mother's quilting fabrics and the dictionary page from my father's office. Ephemera is everywhere just start looking around. :-)
yes, ephemera is everywhere!
ReplyDeleteIs this a sly commentary on the speed of the USPS mail service? As in, you'll be dead and buried before your letter reaches its destination?
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI can see the attraction of the tea bags John,
ReplyDeleteI think I need to start hoarding them too?
And, the whole composition is perfect!
Nice orange glow. Let's face it - one man's ephemera is another man's rubbish. Even if I rename it, I still have too much in spite of frequent trips to all upcycling possibilities...
ReplyDeleteLove it.....
ReplyDeleteReally digging this one!
ReplyDeleteThis is very wonderful John
ReplyDeleteI really like this! I'll have to experiment with citra solv
