Seeing something in a new way is what collage is all about. In this case, taking something apart and redistributing it with other ephemera pulled this collage together. It is the process of recreating a different image, something new out of something old or vintage.
And in contrast here we have a traveling family facing an uncertain future.
ReplyDeleteGrapes of Wrath-ish and again a depth of field but in reverse. Hesitant and time worn, fearful of disappointment.
I love this Manzanita series completely.
