Barn on the Plains |
This past week during my workshop at the Orcas Senior Center I was given a baggie full of narrow fabric scraps by one of the participants, Maggie. The fabric lines that you see sure came in handy. Once the pieces fell into place this spread came to a quick closure.
It is a windy day on this farm and the dust is arising!
sometimes you just need the right piece...and then WHAM - it all falls into place...love it when that happens!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Connie, couldn't be better! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWOW i do hope this is for me! At least I know I will hold it for a while?
ReplyDeleteMakes me happy
This is really beautiful John. years ago I lived out among the farms and would paint them all the time. This is exactly how it looks. Those colors in the soil are perfect.
ReplyDeleteLovely strong colours. My sister makes fabulous cards with sari silk 'ribbons' a bit like your strips from Maggie's baggie.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this John- reminds me of my childhood in Iowa. Beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI love this too, John - the sense of space in the sky is fabulous as well as the colours.
